Specification-based research shortlist—not a hands-on test, price ranking or exact-model customer-review ranking. A listed capacity does not establish comfortable seating. Each product page separates seller statements, source contradictions and owner-evidence gaps.

Our pick: Xmatch 902VS

A two-person hemlock cabin with nine 1,750 W heating plates on a 120V plug and a 149°F maximum. Check the 40 × 34 in listed interior against your seating needs.

Others we're watching

KUNSANA (mahogany, ceramic + carbon), Kanlanth (Norway spruce, 1,850 W) and Albott (1-person, shingle roof) are on our catalog pages with their specification caveats. Check the exact wood, heater and outdoor configuration.

Infrared vs traditional

Infrared cabins top out around 149–158°F and heat you with panels. Traditional saunas heat the air with a stove and usually need a 240V hardwired circuit. They feel different — decide which you want first.

Footprint excludes installation allowances. Interior volume per advertised seat is not usable bench space; heater kW alone does not establish performance.
