Checklist

Electrical readiness checklist

A planning checklist, not an electrical design. It compares what you know with what the listing documents, and gives you questions for a licensed electrician.

We never suggest breaker sizes, cable gauges or wiring steps. Only the exact manual and a licensed electrician can determine those.

Does a sauna need a dedicated electrical circuit?

Use the installation manual for the exact heater and ask a licensed electrician to assess your site. A standard outdoor outlet is not equivalent to a dedicated 240V supply, and voltage alone does not confirm a suitable installation.

A checklist is not approval

Documented requirements and saved answers help organize an electrician’s assessment. They do not verify panel capacity, circuit suitability, permits or installation compliance. Missing documentation stays unresolved rather than becoming a positive readiness verdict.

Changing models changes the questions

A different heater needs its own manual checks. Site-power changes can invalidate older checklist answers. Wood-burning selections use installer questions about stove, chimney, clearances and local rules rather than assuming an electrical requirement or overwriting your site-power answer.
