How much backyard space does a sauna need?
Start with the exact model’s exterior width and depth, then add your chosen planning clearance on both sides and extra entry space on the drawing edge you select. A footprint alone does not establish installation clearance.
Read the fit verdict correctly
Fits means the rectangular footprint and your entered allowances fit inside the available rectangle. Tight means the body fits but some allowances do not. No fit means the body exceeds the available rectangle. Unknown dimensions cannot establish fit.
Rotation and entry
Rotation swaps width and depth. The entry edge is your planning choice, not a documented product door location. Check the exact manual for door swing, heater clearances, service access and foundation requirements.
Delivery remains a separate check
A gate width cannot establish pallet access: ask the seller about package dimensions, unloading and the route to your pad. Optional delivery openings stay in this tool; the saved plan retains space and planning allowances.
